Bookanista Thursday: CLARITY Cover Love

Really, I can't even say Cover Love with a straight face.

IT IS COVER LUST.

I lust the font. I lust the colors. I lust the sun sparkles and the waves and the face. I also lust the premise of the book. Here it is:

In Eastport, a tourist town on Cape Cod, lives a family of freaks. My family. I'm a psychic. My brother's a medium. My mother's a telepath. Tourists love us. Townies scorn us. We live in a grand Victorian house with no permanent ghosts, and we use the first floor for our family business: readings. Not the bookstore kind.

Clarity "Clare" Fern sees things. Things no one else can see. Things like stolen kisses and long-buried secrets. All she has to do is touch an object and the visions come to her. It's a gift.
And a curse.

When a teenage girl is found murdered, Clare's ex-boyfriend wants her to help solve the case — but Clare is still furious at the cheating jerk. Then Clare's brother — who has supernatural gifts of his own — becomes the prime suspect, and Clare can no longer look away. Teaming up with Gabriel, the smoldering son of the new detective, Clare must venture into the depths of fear, revenge, and lust in order to track the killer. But will her sight fail her just when she needs it most?

Doesn't that sound amazing? Now, I do love Kim. She's a time travel geek like me, and she emails me to give me a heads up on good television programs I should DVR. Plus she wears glasses. Glasses are cool.

Visit Kim's website here to learn more about her and CLARITY, and put CLARITY on your to read list! It's available March 1, 2011!

Here's what the rest of the Bookanistas are up to today!
